Terms of Use

These terms govern use of MealFact on iPhone, Android, and related services.

Updated: August 29, 2026

MealFact provides estimates for general wellness. It is not a medical device, medical service, diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for qualified professional care.

1. Provider and acceptance

MealFact is provided by Marbel Trading LLC, 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #6781, Albuquerque, NM 87113, United States. Support: support@mealfact.com.

These Terms govern your use of MealFact. The Privacy Policy describes how personal information is processed; accepting these Terms does not constitute consent to optional health, analytics, or contribution processing, which is managed through separate choices. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

MealFact is available only to adults aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement under applicable law. The service is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. Information you provide must be accurate.

3. What MealFact does

MealFact lets you record meals and related habits using photos, labels, barcodes, voice, text, search, or manual entry; receive nutrition and portion estimates; correct results; save meals and recipes; and review progress. Some features may require an account, supported device, network connection, or paid subscription.

4. Important limits

A photo cannot establish the exact recipe, ingredients, weight, cooking method, or nutrients in a meal. Results may be incomplete or wrong. Always review and correct an estimate before relying on it.

  • MealFact does not diagnose a condition or recommend, start, stop, or change a treatment or medication.
  • MealFact does not guarantee weight, health, nutrition, or performance outcomes.
  • If you have symptoms, an eating disorder concern, a medical condition, or treatment questions, contact a qualified professional.
  • For an emergency, contact local emergency services.

5. Accounts and guest use

Some features work with local device storage and no permanent account. Synchronization, restoration, private groups, and optional contribution features may require an account. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in method and notifying us of unauthorized access.

Uninstalling MealFact can permanently remove local information that was not synchronized or exported.

6. Your content and optional contribution

You keep your rights in photos, recipes, entries, and corrections that you submit. You give Marbel Trading LLC a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the feature you request.

Normal meal analysis does not grant permission to reuse a photo to improve future estimates. Any such use requires a separate, optional, versioned opt-in. The scope, exclusions, withdrawal, and deletion limits are described in the Privacy Policy and the in-app consent notice.

You must have the right to submit content and should not include other people, confidential documents, or unlawful material.

7. Private groups

Private groups are invitation-only. After a separate opt-in, other members may see only your chosen nickname, days logged in the last 30 days, and current streak. Meal details, calories, photos, weight, and health imports are never shared with the group. You can leave or disable sharing at any time.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • circumvent quotas, subscriptions, purchase verification, or security controls;
  • scrape, extract, reverse engineer, overload, or automate the service without written authorization;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious content;
  • use MealFact to provide a diagnosis, prescription, or unsafe health instruction;
  • resell the service, misrepresent its origin, or interfere with another person’s use.

9. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid features are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The applicable screen shows the price, billing period, trial if offered, renewal terms, and included features before purchase.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store before the renewal deadline shown by that store.
  • You manage, cancel, and restore purchases through the Apple or Google account used to subscribe.
  • Deleting a MealFact account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription.
  • Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights are handled under store rules and applicable consumer law.

10. Availability and changes

The service depends on networks, devices, and service providers and may occasionally be interrupted. We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features, while respecting paid entitlements and non-waivable consumer rights. Material changes will be communicated when required.

11. Intellectual property

MealFact’s software, branding, interface, text, and service content are owned by Marbel Trading LLC or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, security, the service, legal compliance, or store rules, including for serious or repeated misuse. You may stop using MealFact and delete your account at any time.

13. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, MealFact is provided “as is” and “as available.” Marbel Trading LLC does not promise uninterrupted availability or exact nutrition results.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections in your country. Subject to those rights, Marbel Trading LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused by use of, or inability to use, MealFact.

14. Apple devices

For iOS, these Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The agreement is between you and Marbel Trading LLC, not Apple. Marbel Trading LLC is responsible for MealFact, maintenance, support, and claims to the extent required by law; Apple has no support obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable license terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, United States, without overriding mandatory protections or courts available to consumers under the law of their country of residence. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.

16. Contact and updates

Questions about these terms: support@mealfact.com.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice and request renewed acceptance where required.
