Meal photo contribution

• a future color photo of a meal that completed normal analysis;
• the foods, portions, and nutrition values you reviewed and confirmed;
• limited consent, provenance, quality, and processing records needed to prove that the contribution is eligible.

The choice applies only to future eligible content. It does not retroactively include older photos.

• Apple Health and Health Connect imports, weight, activity, medications, symptoms, and GPS routes;
• progress photos, before-and-after images, audio, dictation recordings, or free-text notes;
• faces, people, biometric information, raw depth maps, or depth measurements;
• nutrition labels, barcodes, documents, payment information, and account credentials.

Eligible contributions may be used only to develop, test, validate, and improve MealFact’s future food, portion, and nutrition estimates. They are not used for advertising, sold, or licensed for an unrelated purpose.

Before an eligible contribution can enter an improvement dataset, it passes a restricted review for consent, content, metadata, rights, provenance, and quality. Material containing a person, sensitive document, or other excluded content must be rejected.

You keep your ownership rights. If you opt in, you give Marbel Trading LLC a limited, non-exclusive permission to process eligible contributions only for the purpose described here and in the consent notice shown at that time.

Participation must be voluntary, limited to eligible adults with a permanent account, and cannot be required to use ordinary photo analysis or a paid subscription.

• Original review copy: targeted for deletion within 72 hours.
• Pending or quarantined material: no more than 30 days.
• Accepted cropped photo and confirmed structured correction: no more than 24 months in the initial program.
• Network logs: normally no more than 7 days; backup deletion targeted within 30 days.

Withdraw in Settings → Privacy and consent → Meal photos to improve MealFact. Withdrawal immediately blocks new collection and future export and starts deletion of separately identifiable copies.

Changes already incorporated into a released estimate system may not be technically reversible. MealFact may retain a limited exclusion record, without the contribution itself, to prevent the withdrawn material from being introduced again.

Contributions are processed only inside a controlled MealFact pipeline with access restrictions and region-aware handling. A service provider may support the infrastructure only under written instructions and may not use contributions for its own independent purposes. The final in-app notice will identify any material provider or transfer that applies when the program opens.
